Hal ini sering disebabkan akibat kesalahan dalam mendarat saat melompat, jatuh dengan pergelangan kaki terputar, serta berjalan atau berlari pada permukaan\u00a0yang\u00a0tidak rata.[\/mkd_accordion_tab][\/mkd_accordion][mkd_accordion style=&#8221;toggle&#8221;][mkd_accordion_tab icon_pack=&#8221;&#8221; title=&#8221;Bagaimana Mekanisme cedera bisa terjadi?&#8221;]Terdapat beberapa macam mekanisme cedera ankle sprain, antara lain:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Inversion<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Merupakan mekanisme cedera ankle yang paling sering terjadi, mengenai ligamen sebelah luar dari ankle (ligamen talofibular).<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>Eversion<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Cedera ankle yang mengenai ligamen bagian dalam ankle (ligamen deltoid)<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>High ankle sprain<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Cedera\u00a0ankle\u00a0yang mengenai ligamen yang menghubungkan antara tulang tibia dan tulang fibula. Biasanya terjadi dari sebuah gerakan memutar secara tiba-tiba, merubah arah gerakan secara tiba-tiba dan biasanya akibat kontak langsung.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1840 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.medifit.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/ankle-sprain-220x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"324\" height=\"442\" \/><\/p>\n<p>[\/mkd_accordion_tab][\/mkd_accordion][mkd_accordion style=&#8221;toggle&#8221;][mkd_accordion_tab icon_pack=&#8221;&#8221; title=&#8221;Apa Faktor penyebab cedera ankle?&#8221;]<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Adanya Kelemahan otot, terutama otot-otot di sekitar sendi pergelangan kaki<\/li>\n<li>Adanya riwayat cedera ankle berulang<\/li>\n<li>Fleksibilitas yang buruk<\/li>\n<li>Keseimbangan yang buruk<\/li>\n<li>Kurang melakukan pemanasan dan peregangan saat sebelum berolahraga<\/li>\n<li>Permukaan lapangan yang tidak rata.<\/li>\n<li>Sepatu atau alas kaki yang tidak tepat.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>[\/mkd_accordion_tab][\/mkd_accordion][mkd_accordion style=&#8221;toggle&#8221;][mkd_accordion_tab icon_pack=&#8221;&#8221; title=&#8221;Bagaimana Tanda dan Gejala terjadinya ankle sprain?&#8221;]Bila pergelangan kaki terkilir, gejala utama yang muncul adalah nyeri pada pergelangan kaki. Nyeri akan semakin memberat ketika telapak kaki diputar. Selain itu, pergelangan kaki akan terlihat membengkak, kemerahan, dan terasa hangat bila diraba. Adanya kesulitan berjalan juga dapat terjadi akibat adanya pembatasan pergerakan pada sendi pergelangan kaki.[\/mkd_accordion_tab][\/mkd_accordion][mkd_accordion style=&#8221;toggle&#8221;][mkd_accordion_tab icon_pack=&#8221;&#8221; title=&#8221;Mengenal Tiga Tingkatan derajat Cedera&#8221;]<strong>Grade 1<\/strong> : biasanya terjadi robekan kecil pada serabut ligament yang ditandai dengan sedikit bengkak tetapi masih stabil dan masih bisa bergerak dengan sedikit nyeri atau tidak ada nyeri sama sekali<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grade 2<\/strong> : terjadi robekan yang lebih besar pada serabut ligamen. Gejala yang muncul adalah nyeri dan bengkak, adanya\u00a0 penurunan ruang gerak sendi dan mungkin terasa instabilitas pada sendi<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Grade 3<\/strong>: terdapat robekan pada seluruh serabut ligamen, gejala yang timbul adalah nyeri dan bengkak, tampak hematom, sendi tidak stabil, dan nyeri sekali bisa digerakan<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1853 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.medifit.id\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/different-grade-300x144.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"254\" \/>[\/mkd_accordion_tab][\/mkd_accordion][mkd_accordion style=&#8221;toggle&#8221;][mkd_accordion_tab icon_pack=&#8221;&#8221; title=&#8221;Apa yang harus dilakukan saat mengalami cedera?&#8221;]Penanganan pertama adalah dengan dengan PRICE :\u00a0<em>Protection<\/em>, <em>Rest, Ice, Compression dan Elevation pada fase akut (1-3 hari pasca cedera). <\/em>Setelah nyeri dan bengkak berkurang \u00a0dapat dimulai latihan untuk mengembalikan ruang gerak sendi. Contoh latihan: ankle pump, ankle circle, membuat tulisan alphahet A-Z dengan sendi ankle. Setelahnya dapat melakukan latihan penguatan pada otot-otot di area sendi\u00a0<em>ankle<\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em>apabila ruang gerak sendi sudah maksimal dan sudah tidak ada nyeri ataupun bengkak.
